Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating three suspects following a robbery at a Long Island convenience store.
The incident happened in Uniondale, at the Pump & Stuff gas station on Jerusalem Avenue, at around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Nassau County Police said one suspect concealed various items in his pockets while another distracted the employee. A third culprit held the door open.
When the clerk confronted the one who was stealing, the suspect pushed past them and ran out of the store without paying. Nobody was injured.
Police described the suspects as:
- Black male, 15 to 20 years old, 5-foot-5, 150 pounds, wearing a black zip-up jacket, black shorts, and black sneakers
- Black male, 15 to 20 years old, 6-foot-4, 200 pounds, with dark hair, wearing a white zip-up Nike jacket, black shorts, and white sandals
- Wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, black shorts, and black and white Nike sneakers
